Welcome to my blog site! My name is Michael Yuan. I am an entrepreneur, author, and software consultant based in Austin, Texas. I am the CEO of Ringful Health. The company focuses on building innovative mobile solutions that empower consumers to participate in their own healthcare. Check out an article I wrote about this subject on New York Time.
Before starting out on my own, I worked as a product manager and open source developer at the JBoss division of Red Hat Inc.

Besides software, my passions are traveling, photography, and astronomy. Actually, I love astronomy so much that I got myself a Ph.D. degree in Astrophysics from the University of Texas at Austin.
