Wow those salaries are _really_ high compared to what we get in Sweden. We’re a lot higher than $8000 though

i’m in malaysia with 7 years IT experience and earning a paltry USD 12000 a year - doing Struts

As a software developer in San Jose earning the average I must say that the cost of living here is extremely high (impossible to get in the market to buy a house). I’d much rather be in Sweden enjoying my six week vacation right now
Although I am grateful as there are definitely worse places to be stuck in.
